Zusammenfassung:	The alumina supports for skeletal isomerization and their application on C4 and C5 olefin isomerization are disclosed in this invention. The cylinder alumina supports which pore size distribution between 30-120A and the pore volume of small pore must be over 50% of total alumina supports pore volume, which contain desired additives and can effectively used in the isomerization reactions of olefins. The normal olefins which include C4 and C5 hydrocarbons can be converted to iso-olefins or converted mutually. The isomerization ractions may include double bond isomerization and skeletal isomerization. The method for the preparation of these alumina supports of the invention and catalysts of skeletal isomerization by impregnation is also described.
