Zusammenfassung:	The invention concerns a chain link of plastic material which is formed integrally by two spaced-apart, mutually oppositely disposed chain side plates (1, 2) and a plate portion (3). The plate portion (3) has at least one shaped groove (8) extending substantially parallel to a chain side plate (1, 2). A separating web (6) can be inserted into the shaped groove (8), the separating web having at an end portion an engagement portion (9) of a corresponding configuration to the shaped groove (8).
