Zusammenfassung:	Apparatus for removing sheets one by one from the top of a stack (1) comprising a suction conveyor means (3, 4) disposed above the stack(1) and provided with side blowing means (17) having first blowing nozzles (18, 19) which blow a first air flow directly against the side of the top sheets (1) and a second blowing nozzle (23) which blow an obliquely upwardly directed air flow against the side of a sheet attracted by the suction conveyor means (3, 4) in order to shake loose sheets sticking to the attracted sheet. Front blowing means (15) then blow air between the sheet to be removed by the suction conveyor means (3, 4) and the rest of the stack (1) in order to press any following sheets firmly on to the rest of the stack.
