Zusammenfassung:An emulsion composition comprising by weight based on the total weight of the composition: (a) 0.5 to 5% microfine ketoconazole; (b) buffer, acid or base to maintain the pH of the composition in the range from 6 to 8; (c) sufficient dermatologically acceptable antimicrobial preservatives to prevent degradation of the composition; (d) 0.5 to 40% of a dermatologically acceptable oil; (e) 0.5 to 10% propylene glycol; (f) water ad 100%; characterized in that the emulsion lacks sodium sulfite as an anti-oxidant.
