Zusammenfassung:	Process for continuously producing a suspension of cellulose in aqueous N-methylmorpholine N-oxide, characterized by (a) conveying the cellulose in absence of N-methylmorpholine N-oxide with homogenization through a first shearing zone and (b) conveying the homogenized cellulose through a second shearing zone after adding so much aqueous N-methylmorpholine N-oxide that after mixing, a suspension with an N-methylmorpholine N-oxide content in the liquid phase in the range from 70 to 80% by mass is formed, the cellulose and the suspension, respectively, covering the cross section available for conveying in the shearing zone substantially completely.
