Method of cultivating abalone and apparatus therefore

A method of cultivating abalone comprises cultivating abalone on a bare sea surface by using a cultivation barrel to isolate changes in the seawater temperature and specific gravity while using the natural phenomena that seawater is a poor thermal conductor and a convection of seawater caused by a change in specific gravity. In order to reduce the fluid resistance, the cultivation barrel is oval in shape to prevent the abalone from staying transversely and being damaged while opening the cultivation barrel. In order to satisfy the back light perperties of abalone, a reinforcement structure of sheet-like transversal rib is installed for the abalone to settle on. This sheet-like rib also increases the time lag of the barrel body to the waves thereby obtaining a better natural water-exchange effects. The combination of the barrel body, the net plate at the bottom of the barrel, the sheet-like rib and the uppermost hollow rib skeleton constitutes the method and apparatus of cultivating abalone of the present invention.
