Zusammenfassung:	A child seat system installable on a vehicle seat, the child seat system including a support base securable to the vehicle seat and a seat detachably connectable to the support base. The seat includes a seat portion and a back portion extending in an upward direction from the seat portion. The seat is configured to transition between a first configuration and a second configuration. In the first configuration, the seat can receive and support a child seated on the seat portion and in the second configuration, the seat is unable to receive or support the child on said seat portion. The seat is configured to transition from the second configuration to the first configuration by connecting the seat to the support base.
