A jacket heater used by being worn on a body to be heated, the jacket heater comprising an inner layer that comes into contact with the body to be heated, an outer layer, a heating layer that is provided between the inner layer and the outer layer and that has a heating wire as a heat source, and a temperature sensor that detects the temperature, wherein the temperature detection point of the temperature sensor is provided at a position that does not overlap with the heating wire in a direction perpendicular to the contact surface of the inner layer and the body to be heated.
