Zusammenfassung:	The present invention provides a tablet printing apparatus and a tablet printing method that can improve the inspection accuracy when the tablets on which information is printed as a code is under inspection. A tablet printing apparatus according to an embodiment includes a print head for performing printing on a tablet; a control device (40) for controlling the print head; and a photographing device for photographing the tablet on which printing is performed by the print head. The control device (40) controls the print head to print the code generated based on the raw data, and determines whether the data read from the code contained in the image obtained by using the photographing device is consistent with the raw data.
