Zusammenfassung:	Provided is a (meth)acrylic resin containing structural units of formulae (2) and (3). In formula (2), R3 represents a hydrogen atom or a methyl group, and R4 represents a group that has a hydroxy group on a carbon atom and that has, on a carbon atom adjacent to said carbon atom, a residue obtained by removing a hydrogen atom from a carboxy group of an unsaturated monocarboxylic acid. In formula (3), R5 represents a hydrogen atom or a methyl group, and R6 represents a group that has, on a carbon atom, a residue obtained by removing a hydrogen atom from a carboxyl group of an unsaturated monocarboxylic acid and that has, on a carbon atom adjacent to said carbon atom, a residue obtained by removing a hydrogen atom from a carboxyl group of an unsaturated monocarboxylic acid.
