Zusammenfassung:	A power unit according to the present invention has: a motor coupled to one end side of a rotation shaft; a resolver which is provided on the other end side of the rotation shaft and which detects rotation of the rotation shaft; a motor chamber in which a motor is disposed in a housing communicating with an external environment; a resolver chamber which is partitioned from the motor chamber in the housing and in which the resolver is disposed; and a communication passage which is formed in the housing and which communicates the motor chamber with the resolver chamber.
