Zusammenfassung:	Provided is a dental gypsum composition that has such a hardness that, when a model or the like is placed in a desired position using a slurry prepared by adding water to the gypsum composition, as required in the case of, for example, mounting the model to an articulator, the model can be continuously and stably placed in the desired position without sinking. At the same time, the dental gypsum composition can impart to the aforesaid slurry adequate fluidity (usable time) to achieve good workability. The dental gypsum composition is characterized by containing gypsum hemihydrate and [alpha] pregelatinized starch.
