Glass cloth and glass cloth manufacturing method providing a glass cloth that suppresses the occurrence of streak defects

The main objective of the present invention is to provide a glass cloth that suppresses the occurrence of streak defects. The solution is as follows: a glass cloth is surface-treated with a silane coupling agent, the glass cloth having a mass of 6.0 to 13.0 g/m2, a weave density of warp and weft threads of the glass cloth of 90 to 120 threads/25 mm, an average yarn width of the weft threads of the glass cloth of 120 to 220 [mu]m, a weft splitting rate of the glass cloth of 80 to 120%, a warp splitting rate of the glass cloth of 60 to 120%; and a weft gap variation coefficient (standard deviation/average value * 100%) calculated from the average value and standard deviation of the gaps between adjacent weft threads of the glass cloth of 15 to 35%.
