Zusammenfassung:Provided is a gas sensor that can achieve an increase in responsiveness. A gas sensor (10) has one or more electrode pairs (70) each having a first electrode (71) and a second electrode (72). The gas sensor (10) comprises: an electrode unit (50) including the first electrode (71) and the second electrode (72) facing each other in a first direction with a gap therebetween in each electrode pair (70); a sensitive membrane (60) disposed between the first electrode (71) and the second electrode (72) in each electrode pair (70); and a voltage application unit (80) that applies voltage between the first electrode (71) side and the second electrode (72) side of the electrode unit (50). The sensitive membrane (60) is a dense body.
