Light diffusive silicone composition and light diffusing member

To provide a light-diffusing silicone composition with which separation of a spherical inorganic light-diffusing agent by sedimentation is suppressed over a long period and which can be cured by an organohydrogen polysiloxane in the presence of a catalyst for hydrosilylation reactions when an organopolysiloxane has a silicon atom-bonded alkenyl group and which forms a cured product having excellent light diffusion and heat resistance properties. A light-diffusing silicone composition containing (A) an organopolysiloxane having a viscosity of 100 to 1,000,000 mPa.s at 25 DEG C, (B) a spherical inorganic light-diffusing agent having an average particle size of 1 to 10 [mu]m, and (C) a silica filler having a BET specific surface area of at least 50 m2/g, wherein the (C) component is a silica filler that has undergone a surface pretreatment using hexamethyldisilazane, or a silica filler that has undergone a surface treatment using hexamethyldisilazane in the presence of some or all of (A).
