Zusammenfassung:This invention relates to a method for preparing Chitosan/GPTMS hybrid silica hydrogels with different degrees of cross-linking using the sol-gel method. A hybrid film is then tested using instruments such as a contact angle meter, FT-IR, and DSC to determine basic properties such as contact angle, wateruptake, pH response test, ion exchange rate (IEC), bound water properties, and functional group structural analysis. The results confirm that Chitosan can successfully undergo ring-opening and sol-gel cross-linking reactions with GPTMS (3-Glycidoxypropyltrimethoxysilane), resulting in Chitosan/GPTMS with hybrid hydrogel characteristics and good pH-sensitive hydrogel behaviors.
