Zusammenfassung:	The present invention provides a simple roasting apparatus, which can roast raw coffee beans in a can in an amount that can be used up at the same time without the need for metering, etc., when necessary. The present invention is to provide a roasting apparatus having a metal can (10, 10A and 10B) for containing raw coffee beans (B) and a holder (30, 30A and 30B) for holding the aforementioned metal can on a heat source in a rotatable manner. The aforementioned metal can (10, 10A and 10B) are of cylindrical shape with a dual structure of an outer cylinder and an inner cylinder, and the aforementioned inner cylinder is made of stainless steel. Preferably, the inner cylinder is provided with a stirring wing (18, 18A and 18B). The stirring wing is preferably mounted in the metal can for easy loading and unloading.
