Zusammenfassung:	One aspect of the present invention is a refining method for fluorine resins that involves refining a fluorine resin that includes a first fluorine-containing aliphatic ring structure in the molecular chain thereof by bringing the fluorine resin into contact with a fluorinating agent at a temperature of at least (Tg1-35) DEG C, where Tg1 is the glass transition temperature of the fluorine resin. The present invention makes it possible to produce a fluorine resin that is suitable for use in plastic optical fibers. The first fluorine-containing aliphatic ring structure may have a dioxolane skeleton.
