Light-receiving device

A light-receiving device according to one embodiment of the present disclosure comprises: a first substrate having a plurality of photoelectric conversion units that perform photoelectrical conversion of light, and a storage unit that stores charges resulting from the photoelectrical conversion performed by the photoelectric conversion units; a second substrate that is layered on the first substrate and that has a read-out circuit which outputs a first signal based on the charges stored in the storage unit; and a wiring layer including vias electrically connecting the storage unit and the read-out circuit. The first substrate and the second substrate are layered such that a first surface on which an element of the first substrate is formed and a second surface on which an element of the second substrate is formed oppose each other. The vias penetrate through a plurality of layers in the wiring layer.
