Zusammenfassung:	The present invention provides: a liquid crystal aligning agent which enables the achievement of a liquid crystal alignment film that has excellent resistance to AC afterimages and low pretilt angle characteristics; and the like. The liquid crystal aligning agent contains component (A) and component (B). Component (A): At least one polymer (A) that is selected from the group consisting of a polyimide precursor, which is a reaction product of a tetracarboxylic acid derivative component that contains a tetracarboxylic acid dianhydride represented by formula (Tc) in an amount of 100% by mole of the entire tetracarboxylic acid derivative component and a diamine component that contains a diamine represented by formula (dAL) in an amount of 60% or more of the entire diamine component, and a polyimide.
