Antenna system integrated with side-keys of an electronic device

This document describes methods and systems for an antenna system (104) integrated with side-keys (106) of an electronic device (102). The antenna system (104) enables antenna integration in a metal frame (108) using a metal support structure (122) and fastener(s) (120) to route antenna signals around side-key modules (106) embedded in the frame (108) without encountering or causing interference with the side-key modules (106). By using these techniques to integrate antennas on areas around the side-key modules (106), more antennas can be implemented on the electronic device (102), leading to improved capabilities supporting additional wireless standards and a better user experience in terms of improved communication quality.
