Zusammenfassung:The present invention provides a method for producing a positive electrode material for nonaqueous electrolyte secondary batteries, the method producing a positive electrode material for nonaqueous electrolyte secondary batteries containing an lithium ion and an oxidized polyaniline that has an -NLi- group obtained by replacing a proton of a nitrogen atom in an -NH- group with a lithium ion by means of: a step for producing an acidic oxidized polyaniline that serves as a starting material; a step for converting the starting material into a basic starting material by washing the starting material with a basic solution; and a step in which a reaction for obtaining a semi-reduced polyaniline by partially or fully reducing the basic starting material is carried out in a nonaqueous solvent or aqueous solvent with a lithium salt containing a lithium ion, thereby having the oxidized polyaniline incorporate the lithium salt thereinto and having the lithium ion coordinately bonded to a nitrogen atom that constitutes t
