The present invention provides an iron core supporting mechanism and an iron core wire winding apparatus. The iron core supporting mechanism comprises: a supporting rotary axle, the supporting rotary axle having one end forming a connecting end to which a supporting carrier is fixed and an opposite end forming a driving end, the supporting rotary axle being driven at the driving end by a driving mechanism to rotate; a supporting bar, which is pivotally mounted to the supporting rotary axle and is drivable for reciprocally moving to have an abutting portion abutting the iron core, two sides of the supporting bar being each formed with a position-constraining portion, the position-constraining portions being constrained as being respectively pressed by stop edges of two supporting seats on two sides. As such, deviation of clamping and supporting the iron core can be reduced.
