Zusammenfassung:	A monitoring device and a monitoring method for a construction area are provided. The monitoring method includes: receiving a video and scene information of the construction area; detecting a person in the video to generate a person detection result; detecting an object in the video to generate an object detection result; capturing a person video from the video according to the person detection result and detecting a wearable device in the person video to generate a wearable device detection result; tracking the person according to the person detection result and the wearable device detection result to generate tracking information, generating human behaviour information according to the tracking information and the object detection result, and determining whether the human behaviour information matching with safety code; and outputting an alarm message in response to the human behaviour information not matching with the safety code.
