The present invention provides a hinge and an office machine using the hinge. The hinge can increase the independence and degree of freedom when setting the torque curve of the second opening and closing angle range, and can set proper torque curve for entire opening and closing angle ranges of the opening and closing body. The hinge is connected with an opening and closing body relative to the device body so that it can be opened and closed, and it includes: a mounting member having a box part with an open top and mounted on the device body side; a support member assembled to the mounting member through the hinge shaft, so that it can be rotated, and supporting the opening and closing body; a sliding member sliding up and down in the box part; and a compression coil spring elastically arranged between the sliding member and the mounting member.
