Zusammenfassung:	An active polyester having the structure shown in formula (I):, in formula (1), R1 and R2 is a hydrogen atom, a substituted or unsubstituted C1 to C6 alkyl group or phenyl group; Ar is a divalent aromatic group; n is a positive integer from 5 to 200; and R3 is selected from the group consisting of the following formulas:,,, and, wherein R4 is a hydrogen atom, a halogen atom or C1-C6 alkyl group. The active polyester can be used as an epoxy resin curing agent to improve the processability, heat resistance, dielectricity, toughness and flame retardancy of the cured epoxy resin.
