Zusammenfassung:	A use of a marjoram essential oil is provided, wherein the marjoram essential oil is used as an inhibitor of Phellinus noxius (Corner) Cunningham. The marjoram essential oil is prepared as an emulsion of the marjoram essential oil for injection into a brown root rot diseased tree, wherein the emulsion includes the marjoram essential oil, an emulsifier, and a water, and a mixing ratio of the marjoram essential oil and the emulsifier is ranged from 2:1 to 4:1 (V/V).
