Keyswitch

A keyswitch includes a base plate, a membrane switch layer, a keycap, a balance bar and a buffer layer. The base plate includes a linking portion extending upward. The membrane switch layer is disposed on a main body of the base plate, with the linking portion of the base plate penetrating through the membrane switch layer, such that a contact portion of the membrane switch layer is located proximate to the linking portion. A connecting section of the balance bar passes through a through hole of the linking portion of the base plate. The buffer layer is formed on a lower surface of the contact portion of the membrane switch layer, and extends along a first lateral path and a second lateral path. The contact portion of the membrane switch layer supports the connecting section of the balance bar to abut against a top wall of the linking portion of the base plate.
