Zusammenfassung:	The present disclosure relates to a laundry treating apparatus including a drum, which includes a drum body, a front cover, and a rear cover, a drying unit for supplying heated air to the drum body, a fixing panel, a power transmission unit, which includes a housing, an input shaft having one end located outside the housing and an opposite end located in the housing, an output shaft having one end secured to the rear cover and an opposite end located in the housing, and a gear unit for transmitting the rotational motion of the input shaft to the output shaft, a motor, which includes a stator secured to the fixing panel or the housing and a rotor to which the one end of the input shaft is secured, and a heat insulation part made of a material having heat conductivity lower than the heat conductivity of the housing.
