The problem can be solved by a vinyl chloride resin composition containing nanocellulose and a vinyl chloride resin, the nanocellulose being derived from a cellulose oxide that is an oxide of a cellulose-based raw material oxidized by hypochlorous acid or a salt thereof, and the vinyl chloride resin composition being such that an N-oxyl compound is not essentially contained.
