Zusammenfassung:The invention provides an electronic settlement method and system for performing settlement by recognizing a user's face. The settlement method of the invention comprises the following steps: detecting a face image of a user in the video received by a camera; if the video comprises a plurality of face images corresponding to a plurality of users, designating at least one of the plurality of users as a target settlement user; using the face image of the target settlement user included in the video to extract the user information corresponding to the target settlement user from a user database; and using the user information to execute the settlement process on the target settlement user.
