Zusammenfassung:	The purpose of the present invention is to provide a high molecular-weight material that has a high refractive index and can be suitably used for optical applications. The sulfur-containing polymer according to the present invention includes at least one structural unit selected from the group consisting of structural units (A) represented by general formula (1), structural units (B) represented by general formula (2), and structural units (C) represented by general formula (3). The polymer has a reactive functional group. (In general formulae (1), (2), and (3), X1, X2, and X3 may be the same or different from each other, and each represent a divalent aromatic hydrocarbon group optionally having a substituent group.).
