Liquid filter and liquid filtering apparatus using liquid filter

Provided are: a novel liquid filter that is capable of performing filtering uniformly in entirety without causing uneven distribution, to an upper portion above the intermediate portion, of a part where filtering is performed at the entirety of the liquid filter; and a liquid filter apparatus using said liquid filter. The present invention is provided with a plurality of spacers 32 fixed to a filter body 31. The filter body 31 is provided with: a liquid inflow space S; a plurality of slope folded parts 3c that are formed outward from the respective corners of the liquid inflow space S and that have a length extending radially with the center located in the middle of the liquid inflow space; and pocket parts 3r, 3s that are each triangle shaped in a planar view and that each include one of the slope folded parts 3c as one edge thereof. The spacers 32 are fixed to the insides of the respective pocket parts 3r, 3s in the inner surface of the filter in the vicinity of the slope folded parts 3c.
