Zusammenfassung:	A beverage vending system includes a cup shelf, a beverage vending machine and a processing unit. The cup shelf includes a cup accommodating space accommodating a plurality of cups and a first sensing unit sensing a cup characteristic. The beverage vending machine includes a cup placement space, a second sensing unit and a plurality of beverage providing units. When a target cup is taken, the processing unit determines a cup type of the target cup according to the cup characteristic. When the target cup is placed in the cup placement space, the second sensing unit senses the target cup. The processing unit determines a placement position and the cup type of the target cup according to a sensing result of the second sensing unit. The processing unit controls a target beverage providing unit to dispense a beverage into the target cup according to the cup type.
