The elastic layer is made of a slow resilient material. The adhesive carring film is attached to one side of the elastic layer. The hydrogel layer is attached to the side of the adhesive carrying film opposite to the elastic layer. The release film covers one side of the hydrogel layer opposite to the adhesive carrying film. The pressure release pad for preventing pressure ulcer according to the present invention may effectively prevent the formation of pressure ulcer and help healing the existed pressure ulcer wound.
