Zusammenfassung:	An overhead carrier vehicle 6 is provided with: a traveling part 18 that can travel along a track 4; and an elevation part 30 that has a chuck 30A for gripping a FOUP 10 and is lifted and lowered with respect to the traveling part 18 by a suspension member 28A. This overhead carrier vehicle 6 is further provided with: a body part controller 50 that is provided to the traveling part 18 and that controls each of components in the overhead carrier vehicle 6; a vibration detection unit 55A that is provided to the elevation part 30 and that detects vibration generated in the elevation part 30; and a vibration monitoring unit 55B that is provided to the elevation part 30, that determines whether the vibration detection result of the vibration detection unit 55A is within a preset permissible range R, and that outputs the determination result to the body part controller 50.
