A manufacturing method of optical member includes a cutting step of cutting a laminated structure 2 with a pair of rotating blades b1 and b2; the laminated structure 2 includes a plurality of laminated bodies 4 laminated on each other; the laminated body 4 includes a plurality of optical films laminated on each other; the laminated structure 2 has two end faces f1 and f2 opposed to each other; the laminated structure 2 is held by a clamp 12 contacting an upper surface tf and a lower surface uf of the laminated structure 2; one rotating blade b1 is in contact with one end surface f1 of the laminated structure 2; the other rotating blade b2 is in contact with the other end face f2 of the laminated structure 2; the end faces f1 and f2 opposed to each other are cut by the pair of rotating blades b1 and b2 at approximately the same time such that at least a part of at least one end face does not become a planar surface.
