Traveling vehicle system

To suppress a decrease in transportation efficiency of an article while securing a pass route for a worker. A traveling vehicle system comprises: a grid-like track; a traveling vehicle traveling on the track; a controller which controls the traveling vehicle; a work terminal which transmits, to the controller, specific information indicating a current position; and a scaffolding section which is provided below the track and is used for a worker who owns the work terminal to pass under the track. The traveling vehicle enters one or more squares when a pass permission corresponding to one or more squares on the track is obtained from the controller, and the traveling vehicle does not enter one or more squares when the pass permission is not obtained from the controller. The controller performs blocking that does not allow the traveling vehicle to pass, for at least the squares corresponding to the current position indicated by the specific information transmitted from the work terminal, among the plurality of s
