Production method of continuous transparent polyimide film for display providing a transparent polyimide film with low optical leakage

This invention relates to a production method of a continuous transparent polyimide film for a display. The production method includes the following steps: providing a roll-to-roll polyimide film; providing a polyimide precursor, wherein the polyimide precursor is coated on the polyimide film; and baking the polyimide precursor, wherein the baking temperature is at least required to be 20 DEG C higher than the glass transition temperature of the transparent polyimide film, so that the transparent polyimide film has an optical transparency larger than 85%, a chromaticity (b*) smaller than 2 and a triaxial refractive index standard deviation smaller than 0.0012, and then, the transparent polyimide film with the low optical leakage may be obtained.
