Method for manufacturing boron carbide including mixing an organic alcohol compound, a catalyst and an organic solvent to form a mixture solution

The present invention provides a method for manufacturing boron carbide. The steps include: (A) mixing an organic alcohol compound with an organic solvent, then mixing and stirring a catalyst and a boron compound in the organic solvent, and then performing a ultrasonic vibration to optimally disperse the boron compound, the organic alcohol compound and the catalyst in the organic solvent to form a mixture solution; (B) performing a thermal cracking process on the mixture solution to form a mixture; and (C) performing a heat treatment process on the mixture to form a boron carbide powder.
