Provided is an absorbent article (1) including an exterior body (10) and an absorbent body (20), wherein: a joint part (13FR) is provided that joins a pair of side-end parts (13F) of a front waist region (11F) and a pair of side-end parts (13R) of a rear waist region (11R); a first elastic region (Y) is provided at a central portion of the absorbent article (1) in the width direction; a second elastic region (X) is provided along the width direction inside the joint part (13FR) in the longitudinal direction and outside a central line of the absorbent article (1) in the longitudinal direction; and when the first elastic region (Y) and an extension region (Y') thereof are defined as a first stress region, and the second elastic region (X) and an extension region (X') thereof are defined as a second stress region, the length (L1) of an intersection region (150) where the first and second stress regions intersect each other in the width direction is shorter than the length (L2) in the longitudinal direction.
