The present invention provides a cooling device for remains capable of ensuring the safety of the surrounding environment while maintaining the cooling capacity of a cooling medium for a long time. The cooling device for remains includes: a cooler (1) provided with a remains contact surface (11) in contact with the remains (X); a compressor (2) used to compress the cooling medium; and flow path components (R1, R2), which constitute a flow path through which the cooling medium passes through. The flow path components (R1, R2) include: a heat-absorbing pipeline (P) set on the remains contact surface (11); a conveyer pipe (T1a) used to send the cooling medium into the heat-absorbing pipeline (P); and a capillary tube (C) formed between the heat-absorbing pipeline (P) and the conveyer pipe (T1a).
