The disclosed flexible metal clad laminate film includes a base layer, a first metal clad layer disposed on the base layer, and a second metal clad layer disposed on the first metal clad layer, and has not more than 100 pinhole defects and not more than 100 protrusions having a height of greater than 1 [mu]m and smaller than 2 [mu]m, per unit surface area (m2).
