Thread guide with integrated airflow nozzle

The invention relates to a thread guide device in a textiles machine, in which one or more threads under tension are processed. The thread or threads are diverted or conveyed by the thread guide device to a thread processing point, the thread guide device comprising a main body with an air port opening and an insert element, which can be inserted from the outside into the main body and removed from same. With the insert element inserted, the thread is transported through a thread channel having a thread inlet and a thread outlet, wherein the thread channel runs partially through the main body and partially through the insert element and has, in a section running through the insert element, an air inlet for air flowing in through the air port opening. The thread guide device can particularly be used on textile machines using Jacquard techniques, particularly circular knitting machines with Jacquard selection, in which the threads under tension are processed in varying amounts.
