Zusammenfassung:The present technology relates to: a solid-state imaging device comprising an AD conversion circuit in units of multiple pixels, wherein noise of a comparator can be reduced; a method for driving the solid-state imaging device; and an electronic apparatus. In the solid-state imaging device, at least three substrates are layered. In units of pixel blocks including multiple pixels, a first substrate comprises, in each pixel, a photoelectric conversion unit that generates a charge according to incident light, a transfer transistor, and a floating diffusion. A second substrate comprises one comparator that compares a signal according to the voltage of the floating diffusion with a reference signal, the comparator being shared by multiple pixels.
