Zusammenfassung:	Disclosed herein is a technology for repairing a hot pixel defect in a liquid crystal display (LCD). A method of repairing a hot pixel defect in an LCD is a method of repairing a brightness defect in the LCD by blackening a defective pixel through laser beam radiation. The method includes a first step of forming a periphery corresponding to the edge of the defective pixel into a barrier rib of a hardened state by radiating a laser beam of first intensity to the periphery and a second step of blackening the central part of the defective pixel surrounded by the periphery by radiating a laser beam of second intensity stronger than the first intensity.
