Zusammenfassung:The present invention describes a variable pitch platform screen system (100, 200, 300) associated with platform sliding doors (PSDs) (144), moveable platform screens (158, 258) or an emergency door (180) at a train platform (30). The variable pitch platform screen system allows the PSDs to align with doors on different trains (10), where each train has a different door pitch, or allows a position of the emergency door (180) to align with an emergency exit door (EED) on the train. In addition, the platform screen system is moveable in a substantially perpendicular direction to adjust to a kinematic envelope associated with a moving train pulling up at the platform.
