Zusammenfassung:	A protective shell used to protect a protruding portion extended from a front end of a rack case of a server. The protective shell includes a sleeve and two protruding flanges. The sleeve includes a peripheral wall, and a gap is formed on the peripheral wall. The two flanges are respectively formed at two ends of the peripheral wall and extended into gap. The two flanges are respectively formed a first abutting surface and a second abutting surface which are orthogonal to each other. The protective shell is installed on the outer of the protruding portion of the rack case of the server, and prevents the protruding portion from damage due to collision. In addition, the volume of buffer material can be reduced, such that the whole package cost and the shipping cost can be reduced.
