Freeze vacuum drying apparatus and freeze vacuum drying method

The purpose of the present invention is the realization of freeze vacuum drying in a short time and cost down. A freeze vacuum drying apparatus according to the present invention comprises a spray portion, a pipe portion, a heating portion, and a collecting portion. The spray portion sprays raw material liquid into a vacuum container. The pipe portion is non-linear shaped with a first opening end and a second opening end and captures frozen particles formed by self freezing of liquid droplets which are formed by the spraying into the vacuum container of the raw material liquid from the first opening end. The heating portion heats the frozen particles which moves in the pipe portion from the first opening end toward the second opening end by kinetic energy obtained during the spraying in the pipe portion so that the frozen particles are sublimed and dried.
