The present invention includes a pressing unit, a suction pump, a water-removal path, an outside air introduction unit via which outside air is introduced, a gas-liquid separation unit that separates between suctioned cleaning water and the air, and a control unit. The gas-liquid separation unit includes a water storage unit, a water quantity detection unit, and a release valve that causes the outside air to flow in. In a water-removal operation: the control unit presses, using a pressuring unit, an object to be cleaned; suctions in cleaning water and introduced air via the suction pump; and stops the suction pump on the basis of detection by the water quantity detection unit. Outside air flows into the water storage unit from the release valve. Thus, it is possible to prevent the ingress of bubbles into the suction unit and realize stable dehydration performance during dehydration operation.
